Worship at Community Mennonite Fellowship

The worship experience at Community Mennonite Fellowship is a time of celebrating God's love and claiming the offer of wholeness in the Messiah, as a gathering of believers seeking to live the full life of salvation Jesus offers. As a gathering of committed believers we understand that this fullness of life takes shape from personal response to God, fellowship with other believers in covenant and worship with the purpose of praising God.

This praise and worship of God is given shape and takes form through the leadership of the Praise Team. This group guides the gathering in the refreshing of our hearts and minds by sharing God's instruction and care through the study of scripture and the singing of praise.

This renewal of body, mind, and spirit in the naming of the truths of God is often shaped with songs of praise, traditional and contemporary; hymns, old and new; tunes, local and international; choruses, in several languages; and psalms, fresh and familiar.

Worship by definition is not for spectators, but for all to be participants in the work of renewal that comes with naming who God is in our lives, and welcoming who we can become when so shaped by personally accepting and living under the Lordship of Christ Jesus.
